Corn Porridge (Aklui)
Aklui is a stabilized breakfast product. It's a traditional corn porridge without gluten that is very popular in Togo and Benin.
Preparation
-Boil 1 litre of water
-Pour the granules , mixing slowly
-Let cook for 5 to 10 minutes
(depending on the size of the grain)
stirring occasionally
-Add more water if necessary
acording to the desired consistency
-Take off the heat and let rest for 2 minutes
-Adoçar e servir quente.
